A primarily human special operations group is created that works in tandem with “Shipsouls.” Information regarding Shipsouls and the Ctistes species is consolidated from around the world. This group intends to investigate past and present Vaiyran involvement and uncover how much of human civilization has been infiltrated - hopefully to figure out how to counter this influence before it is too late. This organization existed before the Joint Task Forces, with the JTF existing as an offshoot of the ETG before becoming independently organized. Both the JTF and the ETG may compete for Shipsouls through Recovery Teams, groups that retrieve suspected Shipsouls upon being located.
